As part of the Storage Management Group, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise private cloud storage platforms that support hundreds of development teams and millions of users. Key Responsibilities Administer, maintain, and optimize large-scale Ceph Storage clusters to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance. Design and implement storage infrastructure solutions that support enterprise private cloud platforms. Investigate and resolve complex infrastructure issues through deep technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis. Build and improve CI/CD pipelines while driving automation initiatives for storage deployment and operational efficiency. Participate in an on-call rotation to support 24/7 mission-critical storage services and data availability. Collaborate with cloud platform teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable storage services for application development teams. Monitor storage platform performance, capacity, and health, implementing proactive improvements where required. Contribute to infrastructure architecture enhancements and continuous service optimization. Required Skills and Qualifications Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience administering Ceph Storage environments. Experience managing and scaling enterprise, open-source, or commercial distributed storage platforms. Practical experience with DevOps methodologies, including CI/CD pipeline implementation and automation. Strong Linux server administration and infrastructure troubleshooting skills. Experience supporting cloud infrastructure, storage systems, or enterprise platform operations. Knowledge of distributed systems and high-availability infrastructure architecture. Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking and advanced technical problem-solving capabilities. Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within international engineering teams. Proactive approach to infrastructure monitoring, system reliability, and operational excellence. Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly. Passion for continuous learning and adopting new cloud infrastructure technologies. Language Requirements: Japanese: Basic Level English : Business Level Preferred Skills & Qualifications Experience designing and operating large-scale distributed storage architectures. Automation experience using Python, Go, Bash, Ansible, SaltStack, or similar technologies. Experience with Kubernetes, container platforms, and Container Storage Interface (CSI). Experience supporting high-concurrency production environments. Familiarity with cloud-native infrastructure, observability platforms, and infrastructure-as-code practices. Experience with enterprise private cloud platforms is highly desirable.
