Position Overview IQVIA is seeking experienced Clinical Interview Raters (CIRs) with expertise in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) for an ongoing CNS clinical research study. This role is responsible for conducting standardized clinical interviews and psychiatric assessments with study participants, ensuring protocol compliance, data quality, and consistency across all evaluations. The ideal candidate will possess clinical experience treating or assessing PTSD populations, experience administering structured psychiatric interviews, and strong knowledge of validated outcome measures used in PTSD clinical trials. Preference may be given to candidates who hold current CAPS-5 certifications. Assessments utilized in this study include: MINI International Neuropsychiatric Interview (MINI) Montgomery-Åsberg Depression Rating Scale (MADRS) Clinician-Administered PTSD Scale for DSM-5 (CAPS-5) PTSD Checklist for DSM-5 (PCL-5) Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale (C-SSRS) Clinical Global Impression – Severity for PTSD (CGI-S-PTSD) Clinical Global Impression – Change for PTSD (CGI-C-PTSD) Key Responsibilities Conduct protocol-required remote clinical interviews and assessments with study participants. Administer and score study-specific psychiatric rating scales and structured interviews according to sponsor and protocol requirements. Maintain consistency and reliability across all participant assessments. Participate in study training, calibration, standardization, and certification activities as required. Review participant history and relevant documentation prior to assessments. Complete assessments, documentation, and data entry within required timelines. Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), study protocols, and applicable regulations. Collaborate with clinical teams and study stakeholders to support data quality and participant safety. Attend project meetings and ongoing quality review sessions when required. Required Qualifications Education Master's degree (MA/MS) in Psychology, Counseling, Psychiatric Nursing, Social Work, or a related clinical discipline. PhD, PsyD, MD, DO, or equivalent advanced clinical qualification preferred. Clinical Experience Candidates should meet one of the following qualification pathways: Option 1 Minimum 2 years of clinical experience with PTSD populations. Minimum 2 years of experience administering CAPS-5 and/or other structured psychiatric interviews. Completion of all four CAPS-5 certification modules/certificates preferred. Additional Preferred Experience Experience administering psychiatric assessments within clinical research trials. Experience with CNS and/or psychiatric clinical studies. Experience conducting remote or centralized assessments. Familiarity with PTSD outcome measures and structured diagnostic interviews. Previous experience serving as an independent rater, interviewer, or clinical trial assessor. Required Skills Strong understanding of PTSD diagnosis, symptomatology, and treatment. Demonstrated competency administering structured clinical interviews and rating scales. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to assessment quality and consistency. Effective organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently in a remote environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and web-based clinical platforms. Language Requirement Current openings require fluency in English and native-level proficiency in Japanese. Candidates must be able to conduct clinical interviews and complete all study-related communications in both English and the required language.
